Along with physical activity, eating healthy can have a positive effect on your mental health. Diets loaded with processed foods and sugars tend to lead to higher stress levels.
CHANGES IN ATTITUDE

One thing is certain and that is that you cannot change your surroundings. Everyday occurrences such as the environment, consumers, and even the weather can play a part in adding to your stress and anxiety. Instead of focusing on the things that are out of your control, focus on the positive and pay close attention to how you react to the outside factors that find their way into your space. A positive outlook can lead to a positive outcome!
TAKE CARE OF YOU
When things start to feel overwhelming, give yourself a break. Put down the phone, step away from the computer and give yourself time to breathe and regroup. Take a walk, treat yourself to a massage, read a good book, or just soak in a warm bath or shower. Stepping away to clear your mind will often bring new light to a difficult situation.

Taking on too much can also lead to increased stress and anxiety levels. Setting healthy boundaries in both your personal and professional life can be a game changer. Being selective about the projects you take on, whether it is work-related, or family-oriented, can reduce your levels of stress and let you actually enjoy the activities you choose to do.
