Upcoming Events at the Lake!
It’s vacation season at the Lake! So, we thought it would be
fitting to showcase some of the fantastic events at the Lake of the Ozarks that
you can enjoy this May. So, get to planning that trip to your favorite vacation
destination and come enjoy some much-needed relaxation. The Lake West Chamber
is proud to be able to promote such a beautiful area of the Midwest, providing
you all the resources you’ll need to have a wonderful vacation to the Lake oft he Ozarks. Continue reading to learn more about these upcoming events!
PAPA CHUBBY'S IS OPEN FOR THE SEASON
Looking for a new spot for some grub & booze at the Lake (or returning to a long time favorite), Papa Chubby's Food & Booze is now open for the season. Located at the 26MM, they have some amazing specials throughout the week, delicious burgers, appetizers, and more. Not to mention they know how to pour a mean drink! Come celebrate their reopening at the 26MM and let them show you how Papa does it.
April 23rd - RIBBON CUTTING: SUNRISE MOVERS
Sunrise Movers, located at 135 S. Main in Laurie will be celebrating it's very own ribbon cutting with the Lake Area Chamber. They've been a member for over a year, but with their commitment to your relocation needs, they've been exceedingly busy and have just now had the opportunity to schedule. This event will occur at 11:30am. We hope you will join us to officially welcome them into our Chamber.
May 1st - 24TH ANNUAL SPRING HARBOR HOP
Celebrate the beginning of the boating season at the Lake with the largest Poker Hop on the water! Stop by over 40 participating locations at this lake wide event to build your hand and have a chance at winning the prize! To obtain a hand, simply sign up, you can pay an optional $20 donation and any player can enter more than once!

May 5th - LAKE RACE CINCO DE MAYO SOCIAL
Enjoy a beautiful view of the Lake, tantalizing food and drinks, and meet some great people, all while giving to a good cause in your community! The $10 contribution benefits CADV, Kids Harbor, LOWA, and the Boy Scouts. Paradise is located in Sunrise Beach and is the perfect spot to celebrate the Cinco De Mayo Lake Race!

May 9th - LAKE AREA CHORALE CONCERT - SUNRISE BEACH
If you enjoy a good, wholesome concert, come listen to the beautiful sounds of the Greater Lake Area Chorale for a blissful afternoon of music.
This event will begin at 2pm.Free admission. Free will donations accepted.
