Preparing to Hit the Water for a Day of Fun

Be sure to pack the boat with snacks, water, sunscreen, and water toys when preparing for your boating adventure. If you’re boating with a rental company, they’ll ensure the boat is properly equipped with the safety essentials. However, you should be sure to double check for these items before heading out on the water (especially if you’re in your own boat):

·         Life Jackets / Personal Flotation Devices (PFD’s)

·         Throwable flotation devices

·         Fire extinguishers
