Meet our Investor Tier Members

As the holidays approach we are going to continue highlighting our members. Our structured membership allows each business or organization to choose their level participation that fits their needs and budget. We are thankful for every member of the Lake West Chamber and look forward too many more years of promoting their business and the Lake of the Ozarks. In this week’s blog, we will introduce you to our Investor Tier Members

In 1895, when Sullivan had a population of 750, the bank opened with assets of less than $7,000. Built on a solid foundation, serving the communities with sound management and integrity, the bank has grown to serve seven Missouri communities; Sullivan (1895), Cuba (1999), Union (2000), Labadie (2006), Pleasant Hope and Sunrise Beach (2012) and Springfield (2015).
With strong core values of commitment, integrity, approachability, and innovation the bank has strived to continue to strengthen relationships, improve services and explore opportunities in the communities we serve.

Serving the Generations Since 1882. That’s not just a tagline, at The Bank of Versailles that’s our way of doing business. Our goal is to provide our customers with personal service from their first savings account through their IRA distributions.
In 1958 the entire Main Facility was remodeled moving the teller cages to the other side of the building and offices were added. In July of 1970 our Motor Bank was opened, followed by the Laurie Bank in 1977. The Laurie Bank moved into a new facility in 1984 and in 1997 Greenview Bank opened. Each of these facilities not only offered a more convenient service for our expanding customer base but also provided a community room for meetings and events. On June 1, 2015, our newest facility, The Shawnee Bend Bank, opened its doors.
Today, The Bank of Versailles employs more than 40 people and is a proud member of the Versailles Area Chamber of Commerce and the Lake West Chamber of Commerce. We are avid supporters of our local schools and community programs including Habitat for Humanity, 4-H, Relay for Life, Share the Harvest, and The Food Bank’s Buddy Pack Program.

We are rooted in local communities at more than 140 locations across the Midwest.
Our personal service and local loan decisions allow us to be flexible and, on your terms, – two elements that can be hard to find. With Central Bank, you’ll get the convenience and technology that you expect from a big bank, right here in your community, from your hometown bank.
