A local florist may use a local printing company for advertising, do business with a local bank, and use a local car dealership to purchase their delivery vehicles. This is justs one example of how spending with one local business can have a positive effect on many in the community.

Many local businesses support charities in the area. A lot of local businesses will give back with the donation of products, donation of sponsorship, or donation of time. It's easy to find some of your favorite local businesses who support your favorite community programs or events.

A local business owner is working hard to support their family in our community. Shopping small can help provide financial stability for this family. When you shop with a local business you are helping to food on a table of their family and help pay for their child's extracurricular activities at school. You can feel a sense of community when you help a local business owner by making a purchase from their venture versus a big box store.
