It's a great way to support the Lake West Chamber AND get familiar with our BEAUTIFUL side of the lake! All About the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout:

The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is the largest unsanctioned boat race in the US, named one of the nation’s eight “must-see” boating events according to Powerboat Magazine, the Shootout will take place for the ninth year at Captain Ron’s Bar & Grill in Sunrise Beach (Lake Road 5-50, mile marker 34.5). The event raises funds for eight Lake-area rescue teams and numerous other charitable organizations; last year, $200,000.00 to 28 different Charities and 8 Fire Departments. The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is alive and well and looking forward to the 30th year in August of 2018.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 25 2018

8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Captain Ron’s breakfast
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Vendor Village and Racer Village open to the public at Buccaneer Bay and Captain Ron’s
9:30 a.m. – Opening Ceremony with Presley Puig singing the National Anthem and Tori Kruse, Miss Missouri on the Start Boat
10:00 a.m. to Noon – Pictures with Miss Missouri, Tori Kruse on Cannonball Beach
11:45 a.m. – Parade of Boats by Performance Boat Center
1:45 p.m. – Flying Performance by Brian Correll
3:45 p.m. – Parade of Boats by Performance Boat Center
6 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Live Entertainment with Phat Mike and the Bartenders at Captain Ron’s
8 p.m. – 11 p.m. – Live Entertainment with Members Only featuring Jake Simpson on the Barge at Captain Ron’s
11 p.m. to 1 a.m. – DJ Kyle at Captain Ron’s

10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Non-Professional
11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Manufacturer
12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Professional
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Non-Professional
4:00 p.m.—5:00 p.m. Open Class Runs
