Labor Day is sneaking up on us and the kids are headed back to school but that doesn't mean the fun has to end!  The Lake of the Ozarks is a great place to visit any time of year, but Fall may just be the best time of all. With the changing color of the leaves to the calm, peaceful waters, the Lake of the Ozarks is the perfect getaway to enjoy this beautiful time of year. The Lake West Chamber of Commerce is a proud supporter of our West Side and would like to share some of the reasons to make this your vacation destination this Fall.

We all love the hustle and bustle of the summer months here at the Lake of the Ozarks, but Fall presents a calm, serene atmosphere for you to enjoy. Less traffic on the roads and on the water with the gorgeous backdrop of the colors of the Autumn leaves makes for a relaxing, enjoyable getaway. 

The fish are biting, the caves are calling and the trails are ready for you and your family to come and explore all the beauty that Mother Nature has to offer during this incredible time of year!

The West Side of the Lake of the Ozarks offers a multitude of dining options from breakfast and lunch diners to fine dining establishments. Local entertainment can be found in the area to play your favorite tunes, and the Ozarks Amphitheater is host to many national acts for you to enjoy an outdoor concert this Fall! The Lake of the Ozarks also has several wineries to visit and sample the various red & white wine options sure to please your palette.

WATER ACTIVITIES!

Fall is the perfect time to take a boat ride or take a ride on a personal watercraft. Find a quiet cove to cast a fishing line, or pack a lunch for a peaceful "picnic on the lake".
