CELEBRATING 4TH OF JULY


From the year of 1776 to our present day in 2022, the 4th of July has been noted and celebrated as the “birth of American independence”! This day is celebrated with parades, concerts, family get-togethers and barbecues, and most importantly, the grand Fireworks displays!

Although the 4th of July has only been a federal holiday since 1941, the celebrations have been happening since the 18th century after the official signing of the Declaration of Independence!

The Lake West Chamber of Commerce knows there is no place better to celebrate this holiday than right here in the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks! There are special events, including concerts, lake cruises and fireworks displays both on land and water!
