structure along with a non-business level that is for
individuals-civic-organizations and clubs. Lake West Chamber's Benefactors Tier
is our most popular tier of membership as you can see from our last several
blogs. We will continue to highlight our
Benefactor members in this blog.

Welcome to Lake Regional Health System—your health care provider at the Lake of the Ozarks. - Lake Regional Hospital - Our 500,000-square-foot, 116-bed hospital features private patient rooms, a large Outpatient department, and a 35-bed Emergency Department. Our Emergency Department is a state-designated Level III Trauma Center that treats more than 37,000 patients annually. The hospital also features an 18-bed Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit and a 22-bed Progressive Care Unit. Our Family Birth Center includes a Level II Nursery. Lake Regional also is a state-designated Level II Stroke Center and Level II STEMI Center. Our hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a three-time recipient of the Missouri Quality Award.
- Area Clinics and Services - Lake Regional Health System also includes seven primary care clinics; 21 specialty clinics; four walk-in care clinics; four satellite physical and cardiac rehab therapy sites; five retail pharmacies; a skilled nursing facility; and home health and hospice services. Lake Regional Imaging Center also is located on the hospital's campus.

Mills & Sons Insurance Agency was established in 1869 by T.W. Colins. In 1932, Ray Mills, grandfather of the present owner, purchased the agency. His sons, Harry Mills (1932-1999) & Charles Mills (1934-1978), joined the agency shortly. The agency was incorporated in 1978. Milton Mills (1956-2002), Harry’s son, worked for the agency for 20 years, 1977-1997.
In 1979, David Walker joined the agency, bringing with him 15 years of insurance experience as both an independent agent and insurance company marketing representative and underwriter. David received his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1984. His expertise is in the area of commercial property & casualty insurance. In 1983, Mitchell Mills, another of Harry Mills’ sons, joined the agency following graduation from Drury College in Springfield. Currently, Mitchell is President and sole owner of Mills & Sons, Inc. He oversees both the management and sales force of the agency.
Mills Insurance currently has two divisions:
Personal Insurance, including life and health
Business Insurance, including employee benefits
Each division is responsible for marketing and service to prospective and current clients.
