Fall Events to Check Out This Weekend
The words no one wants to hear at the Lake of
the Ozarks, Summer is officially over.
Don’t be sad, the lake area has plenty of fall events planned to keep
your weekends full of fun. This weekend
the Lake of the Ozarks
area is hosting two great events for families to enjoy. Find out all about the Eldon Turkey Festival
and the Pumkin Chunkin Palooza, in this week’s blog.

Annual Turkey Festival

There’s
something for everyone at the 34th Annual Eldon Turkey Festival!
Shop
until you drop as you stroll through the streets of downtown Eldon. Vendors will line the streets selling amazing
products like jewelry, homemade crafts, apparel, clothes, home decor, and much
more. Most of the products will be homemade
one of a kind products. Food vendors
will be lined up for you try sample delicious fare. Make sure to enjoy one of our famous smoked
turkey legs before you leave the festival.
Food Truck Village won’t disappoint, no matter what you are hungry for,
the village will boast many types of grub for everyone. Of course, the beer garden will be close for
a cold beverage of your choice. There
will be 2 entertainment stages for you to enjoy live music and stage
performances. There will also be a
children’s carnival, bounce houses, and much more including a parade for the
kids to enjoy. You can’t help but enjoy
yourself at the Eldon Turkey festival!
Adults and kids will definitely be entertained.

The
purpose of Pumkin Chunkin Palooza is to establish a family-friendly Fall
festival event that will draw crowds and attention to Lake of the Ozarks during
one of the most beautiful times of the year.
Organized
and presented by the Laurie-Sunrise Beach Rotary Club and its members, the
event is aimed at showcasing the Rotary working together to better serve the
lake areas charities, clubs, and non-profit organizations.

strengthen the family unit by connecting people in need of food and other
resources to meet their needs.
LAI’s mission is to provide meaningful employment for
individuals with disabilities, providing them daily challenges and support to
reach their greatest potential!
The Westlake Aquatic Center is open 7 days a week for
water aerobics, lap swimming, arthritis classes, open swim, swimming lessons,
pool parties, lifeguard training and more. The mission of the Westlake Aquatic
Center is to improve the health and quality of life for residents and visitors
of all ages by providing physical fitness, rehabilitation, education, and
social opportunities in a safe and environmentally friendly facility accessible
to all.
Food for Morgan County values everyone in the Morgan
County and surrounding areas. F4MC strives in working to provide food for the
Morgan County residents in need. F4MC works in connection with the Food Bank of
Central and Northeastern Missouri.
