Everything You Need to Know About Crossover Music Festival
This weekend
will be a great opportunity to enjoy great music, fellowship with others, and
support great charities across the Lake of the Ozarks area. The Crossover Christian Music Festival
provides national recording artists on-stage and utilizes worship bands and
musicians from local churches around the Lake of the Ozarks region. Also, local
service organizations will be highlighted on-stage and attendees will be shown

About
the Artists
BUILDING 429
A Christian
rock band honored as the Gospel Music Association (GMA) 2005 New Artist of the Year. Their name is derived from a Biblical verse, Ephesians 4:29, which says
"Do not let any
unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building
others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."
WE ARE VESSEL
Originating from Blackshear,
Georgia, We Are Vessel is a band dedicated to spreading the good news and
bringing a new face to music. We strive to create fun, fast, Rock music
punctuated by heartfelt worship that provides more than just a good time. We
are on a mission to Love people as Christ Loved us and encouraging the broken.
COLTON DIXON
Since placing in the top seven
during “American Idol’s” eleventh season, he’s performed for more than 1
million fans across the country on high-profile tours with TobyMac, Third Day
and Britt Nicole, as well as on the annual multi-artist Winter Jam Tour
Spectacular. His 2013 debut, A Messenger, set the record for biggest
first-week sales by a new solo Christian act and became the No. 1 selling album
by a Christian artist that year.
CURTAIN CALL
Curtain Call Theatre is a nonprofit community theater group for
all who share a passion for the performing arts. Their goal is to provide an
opportunity for the Lake Area to share in their love of theater. Whether it is
performing on stage, helping behind the scenes, or simply enjoying the production
from the audience. Curtain Call strives to establish family-friendly
entertainment for the entire community.
JASON GRAY
Multiple ASCAP Performance Awards, an album hailed by critics as
“Album of the Year”, five top 5 radio singles including a #1 for 9 weeks
straight – ironically came during his darkest days. Then again, maybe it’s not irony at all. Maybe it’s only by walking through the valley
of the shadows ourselves and finding a real hope there that we have anything of
substance to offer to others walking deep valleys of their own.
TASHA LAYTON
For worship leader and speaker Tasha Layton, the road to
discovering her artistry has been a long, exhilarating one - a journey that has
been hard, exciting, painful and incredible all at the same time. From her
small-town roots to circling the globe while on tour with Katy Perry and
working as an in-demand session singer in L.A. to moving to Nashville and
recording her debut EP, Love Running Wild (BEC Recordings), Tasha’s
story is as vibrant and strong as the singer herself.
Carrolton
Indie-rock Christian band, Carrolton sings those lines in the
title track of their new album, Everything or Nothing. The band has come to realize that halfway
commitments may be a safe bet, but safe bets rob our lives of their full
potential. Love is everything. Love gave everything.
