Upcoming Events for Labor Day Weekend

With school starting, we all realize the summer is coming to an end shortly.  However, there are still plenty of events on the west side of the Lake of the Ozarks to put on your calendar.  Labor Day weekend never disappoints. Many of the restaurants and bars will cap off the summer fun for the tourists with a great line up of live music.


Here is a list of the live music on the water to check out this weekend.

Food Truck Friday – August 30, 2019

 Millstone Marina & RV Resort will have the Broken Rib food truck serving from 5-9 pm.  You can enjoy the Broken Rib by water or land.  Millstone is located at the 7MM of the main channel or by land 18096 Highway O, Gravois Mills, MO.  The Broken Rib will wow you with their perfectly smoked ribs and portabella egg rolls to die for.



Fireworks – August 31st and September 1st

 Bear Bottom Resort will have a firework display both Saturday and Sunday night to the end the summer season.  The fireworks display will start at 9:45 both nights ending around 10:45 pm.  You can view the fireworks by land or by water.  Bear Bottom Resort is located at the 38 MM of the Osage Arm and by land take Hwy 5 to 123 Bear Bottom Drive in Sunrise Beach.  Parking is very limited by land so arrive early and enjoy a day with the kids on the waterslides.

Spending a day on the water is always a great way to spend the holiday weekend.  If you don’t have a boat, renting a boat is always an option.  Check out our Lake West Chamber members Pirates Point, Coconuts Bar & Grill, or Iguana Watersports for all your boat rental needs.
