Lake of the Ozarks Event: 12th Annual Support Our Troops Poker Run


Lake of the Ozarks West Chamber is your source for events and happenings on the Lake of the Ozarks Westside, and the entire Lake of the Ozarks area.  This week, we hope you can make it out to the 12th Annual Support Our Troops Poker Run!  See all the big boats gather at Lake of the Ozarks for this fun-filled charity event.  The Support Our Troops Poker Run raises money and awareness for H.E.R.O.E.S. Care.  This event is the perfect way to enjoy the boating season at the Lake of the Ozarks!

About H.E.R.O.E.S Care

H.E.R.O.E.S., or Homefront Enabling Relationships, Opportunities, and Empowerment through Support, Care is a Fenton, Missouri – based program.  According to their website, the program is made up of a “network of tens of thousands of trained caregivers and thousands of professional mental health care and service providers working together to provide an unprecedented system of support for military members and their families.”  The program is designed to provide ”complete and proactive support for members of all branches of the military and their families through pre-deployment, deployment, family reintegration, and post-deployment.”

H.E.R.O.E.S. Care is a wonderful program full of dedicated professionals working together to help members of our military and their families.  Participating in the Support Our Troops Poker Run helps fund the program and helps to take care of the needs of our country’s military personnel.  In 2018, the event raised $35,000 for the charity.

Thursday, June 27
Registration: Camden on the Lake 4pm-9pm

Friday, June 28
Breakfast: Camden on the Lake 8am-10am
Drivers Meeting: 10am-10:15am
Poker Run leaves directly after the drivers meeting
Awards & AfterParty at Dog Days

Saturday, June 29
Rehab & Pool Party: H. Toads 11am
Registration Is Open!
